About the Philippine Air Force
They have arguably the best field in the country with grandstand and spectator facilities. They are the host team of the annual Fat Boy 10s Charity tournament held every August. The squad has a nominal role of some 24 players, but service duties, alerts etc, often reduce the operational number from week to week. However, the PAF player base will be enhanced further with the imminent inclusion of Villamor Air Base in Paranaque Any rugby enthusiast is always welcome to assist or play for the PAF.
HistoryPhilippine Air Force (PAF) was created in late 2004, to allow the Air Forces team to develop their teamwork and skills. One year later, they were competing in PRFU leagues, Tournaments and even the prestigious Manila10s. Several players were in the initial SEA Games 7s squad in Dec 2005, with Elmer Pagente being selected for the Philippine National team.
